This quiche recipe
is so easy to prepare, yet it's melt-in-your mouth delicious. Serve
this to your special someone with a champagne cocktail, and perhaps a
fresh salad. Eggs are rich in aphrodisiac
vitamins, so quiche is a perfect choice when you're in the mood for
romance. Quiche is a terrific dish when you want to serve that
special person breakfast or brunch in bed, and it's also ideal for an
elegant and romantic lunch. Served cold, quiche packs really well
into a picnic basket (for the perfect picnic, find a traditional
wicker basket - and don't forget a blanket or checkered table cloth
to spread out on the ground). Quiche is a great choice for an
afternoon delight...
You
Will Need:
1 tsp. cooking oil
1 unbaked 10"
pie shell in foil pan (available pre-made in frozen food section of
gorcery store)
1/2 c. chopped
cooking onion
1 c. grated
cheddar cheese
2 c. light cream
4 eggs, slightly beaten
3 slices cooked
bacon, chopped
dash of pepper
dash salt
What
to Do:
Preheat oven to
425º F. Saute onions lightly in olive oil. Add bacon and cook
until nearly crisp. Sprinkle onions, bacon, and cheese into pie shell.
Beat eggs with milk (or light cream) and seasonings; pour into pie
shell. Stir gently to evenly mix ingredients. Bake on rack below
center of oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º F and bake 15
- 20 minutes more until an inserted knife comes out clean. Cool for 3
minutes, then cut into wedges and serve. Serves 6.
