Party Planning & Entertaining:

Home Made Christmas Gifts From the Kitchen Ideas

(Family Features) - Looking for an exceptional gift, but short on time? Get into the kitchen and whip up these super-fast, super-easy candy cutouts. Showcase the shapes and tastes of the season with just a couple ingredients and your favorite cookie cutters. Classic Peppermint Bark takes on a new twist in just two steps. Start with white Candy Melts and follow package directions - they will melt like a dream. Stir in peppermint crunch sprinkles then pour into colorful candy cane-shaped cookie cutters. Once firm, these gems are great for gift giving.

Rich and smooth, dark cocoa Candy Melts are the key ingredient in Fanciful Fudge. The creamy wafers melt and blend perfectly with sweetened condensed milk, resulting smooth, silky fudge. Simply pour the candy mixture into cutters and add cheerful sprinkles to create a dazzling Christmas tree or charming gingerbread man.

Wrap the candy and cutter together in a clear party bag and tie with a festive red and green ribbon. Be sure to include the recipe.

Homemade and from the heart, these treats are ideal for stocking stuffers, teachers' gifts or neighborhood dessert swaps.
